It's also the 16th word in the pledge of allegiance, if anyone is counting? A Republic treats you as a sovereign individual. A Democracy treats you as a group... Have researchers found a way to alter weather by using intersecting heat laser beams that generate super-heated air space, resulting in man made tornados and high winds? There many high-tech x-NASA contractors in the Huntsville, Alabama area... Where most of the tornados and destruction hit twice, so far. How much electricity would that take? The marketplace sets the price of fuel, for the most part.The cost of traveling, shipping and just plain moving around is measured by the price at the pump. For example. My Honda Civic takes me 35 miles on one gallon of gas. What other mode of transportation can move me 35 miles in less than one hour for $4.50? Certainly not an airplane, or a freight or passenger train. A bicycle maybe, but not within an hour. After all, what's my time worth? If I earn $25.00 an hour and it takes me an hour and a half to pedal 35 miles, it costs me $37.50 in hourly wages for the trip. Plus water and a change of clothes.
